Surveyor recognise that as well as debate and discussion, networking opportunities and time to relax are important aspects of the Cold Comfort event. With this in mind we will once again host a drinks reception within the exhibition hall after the first day of conference on Wednesday 16th September.
This is the perfect opportunity to discuss in a relaxed atmosphere the issues of the day or to simply catch up with your colleagues and peers.
The Cold Comfort drinks reception is open to all conference attendees and is free of charge.
Following it’s succesful launch in 2007, the third annual Cold Comfort Gala Dinner is set in the lavish surroundings of the Baard Suite at the Cardiff Marriott Hotel on the evening of Wednesday 16th September and will be the social highlight of the event.
The dinner has fast become one of the most prestigious events in the industry calendar with the attendance rising year on year.
The three-course meal is followed by after dinner entertainment, from Patrick Monahan (pictured), an increasingly successful comedian and a natural compere. Patrick has appeared on That’s So Last Week, Destination Unknown and Sudoko Street Challenge. His smart observations and good-natured humour have also been put to good use warming up for the likes of Jonathan Ross, Catherine Tate and The Kumars.
The Cold Comfort Gala Dinner proves to be not only a very enjoyable social occasion, but also an excellent networking opportunity for the prominent attendees from the winter maintenance industry.
